Curing under skylight

Raw Belgian linen is sealed with traditional sizing to isolate the natural fibers from oil degradation.

Pure pigment, lead white, and cold-pressed linseed oil are applied in monolithic gestures.

Molten beeswax is worked into the drying layers to lock in matte density and surface relief.

Canvases rest horizontally on studio trestles through a six-week stabilization period.

Scale

The resistance of physical pigment

Monumental scale requires architectural consideration. A painting is not merely a surface of illusion; it is an object with weight, depth, and structural demand that alters the room it occupies.

Private viewings allow collectors to inspect edge wraps, stretcher joinery, and the distinct topography of wax and oil under natural light.
